Pastor Jeff Prewitt has been serving the Kingdom of God as a pastor since graduating from Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1983. Pastor Jeff was called to serve as a ‘missionary at large’ in the Town of Menasha in 1988. It was then that New Hope Lutheran Church was born, and the young congregation held its first worship service in August of 1988 with 14 people, and 5 were Prewitt’s. Since then, New Hope Lutheran Church has grown to just under 800 members.
Pastor Jeff and his wife Laurie have been married for over 30 years. Pastor Jeff and Laurie met while attending Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska. Pastor Jeff and Laurie are honored to be in ministry together at New Hope. Laurie serves as administrator of the school and as a teacher. They have three adult children and three grandchildren. Their youngest daughter, Sarah, is serving at New Hope as the director of middle, high school and college age ministries. Their son Jared and his wife Brittany live in Colorado. Their eldest daughter Emily is serving at New Hope Christian School as a preschool teacher and at New Hope as the Director of Children Ministries. Emily is married to Chad Urban who is the middle school math teacher and Athletic Director of New Hope Christian School. Chad and Emily are the parents of Ella, Jackson and Bryce.

Starting in 1991, Laurie Prewitt has been the Administrator and a teacher at New Hope Christian School. Laurie earned her Bachelor’s of Science Degree from Concordia Teacher’s College in Seward, NE in 1980 in Elementary Education and Early Childhood. In 1999, she completed her Master’s Degree in Elementary Education/Early Childhood Education and Administration at Concordia University Mequon, WI. She loves to serve Jesus along with everyone at New Hope. “I feel so honored that I can be part of the education growth and development of all students, and most importantly watch them grow to know their Lord and Savior more every day.” Laurie is married to Pastor Jeff. They have three children, three grandchildren, and a dog named Max! One of her favorite biblical quotes is Romans 8:28: All things work together for good to those who love the Lord!
Fun Fact: If Laurie would have chosen not to become a teacher, she would have taken over her Dad’s very successful flower shop business in downtown Milwaukee!
Emily is the Director of New Hope Church Children’s Ministries and the teacher of Preschool Too at New Hope Christian School. She graduated from Concordia University with an Early Childhood Degree and a minor in Youth Ministry. Emily is in her tenth year working at New Hope. She is in charge of developing and maintaining the curriculum and programming for infants through the fourth grade student. She also oversees the amazing team of volunteers who serve in the nursery, TenderCare, and children’s ministry, Connectionland. Emily has a passion for leading the large group teaching on Sunday morning with Connectionland as they worship God and learn more about Him through the Bible. She enjoys the opportunity to partner with parents as children discover who Jesus is and that He wants to be their Forever Friend. Emily’s and her husband, Chad, are blessed with three children! God is good! Her life verse is Proverbs 3:5,6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths.” Emily says, “God is so faithful and has shown me His love over and over. I am thankful for the opportunity to work at New Hope serving God and His children!”
Fun Fact: Emily was in show choir all four years of high school, which has come in handy with the dancing and singing that takes place in Connectionland every Sunday!
Sarah is 26 years old and has been at New Hope her entire life. Having started serving in Crave as a student leader in high school, Sarah is going into her ninth year of leading the crazy awesome youth at New Hope. Sarah is the only one not married on the New Hope staff, but is dating a really fun guy named Ken who is 28 years old and works at First Merit Bank in Darboy. In addition to leading the student ministries at New Hope, Sarah is also the Enhanced Learning Support Teacher at New Hope Christian School. Sarah loves working in youth ministry because it is a high-energy environment and she believes that the youth of today have the capacity to love God, love others and do stuff – like change the world! Sarah sees the Core students and Cravers for who they are becoming and truly believes that God will blow our minds and rock our world over and over!
Fun Fact: Sarah played kickball with Crave and had to get reconstructive knee surgery after. But at least she made it to first base!
Annette Wiesner is the Community and Spiritual Director at New Hope Lutheran Church. She has worked at New Hope Lutheran Church for over 10 years. She oversees the Small Group Ministry, works in the Healing Programs of Christ Care, Rainbows and local missions. Her education after high school was 2 years of Real Estate Broker training and Government Contracting with a private trainer for 2 years. Her prior work experience was as Director of Human Resources and Government Contract Specialist for a firm in Oshkosh, WI for 15 years. Annette has been married to Kenney for over 30 years. Kenney is a retired dairy farmer and they live on a farm between Oshkosh and Neenah. They have three adult children and two grandchildren.
Fun Fact: Annette used to be a tap dancer!
Deanna serves as New Hope’s Music Director. Deanna grew up in Wausau, WI. Before working at New Hope, she was an Employee Benefits Specialist. She then attended Colorado Christian University majoring in composition, arranging, and vocal performance.
Deanna joined New Hope’s staff in 1996. She oversees the adult music team and student vocal team, service programming, and musical arrangements. Deanna believes that music and the arts used for God’s glory can challenge us, encourage us, and help us express our love and devotion to God.
Deanna is married to Steve, New Hope’s Worship Arts & Technical Director, and they have been blessed with a wonderful daughter, Jessica, who is in college. Deanna enjoys time with family, hiking, camping, and reading a good book.
Fun Fact: While living in Wausau, she was part of a family band that traveled to various churches all over Wisconsin.
Steve has been on staff with New Hope Church since October of 1997. He graduated from St. Norbert College, DePere, WI in 1988 with a degree in Communications/Media and a minor in Music. Prior to ministry work, he worked on air for 1 year at WBAY TV2 in Green Bay, WI and 4 years at WSAW TV7 in Wausau, WI as a weather broadcaster where he developed skills in forecasting, graphics and presentations. While in Wausau, he met his wife Deanna and relocated back to the Fox Valley to join AAL Capital Management as a Sales and Service Representative and Corporate Marketing Writer before it merged to become Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. Little did he know how God was using all those career changes and skills to prepare for him for his calling to New Hope Church. His extensive background in music includes performing with and sharing stages with Christian artists such as One Way Ticket, Casting Crowns, Ginny Owens, Jeff Deyo, Monk & Neagle, John Cox, and Sarah Kelly. He currently is responsible for leading worship and with respect to all area surrounding the Worship Arts both music and technical. His greatest joy week in and week out is serving along side his wife Deanna and their worship team leading God’s people to the throne in song. His favorite quote is: “You wanna make God laugh? Just tell Him what your plans are!” Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Lynn Puser, CPA, owner of AFB Accounting & Tax Services, LLC, currently serves as our resident Business Manager. She has been attending New Hope Lutheran Church for 15 years. She and her husband Dave have 4 children Marissa (11), Melany (16), Malory (16), and Brandon (18). They also have two Golden Retrievers, 3 horses and 1 rabbit. Lynn grew up in Green Bay and graduated from UW Milwaukee with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. She became a licensed CPA in 1993. She is a member of the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants (WICPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). She left a local CPA firm 18 years ago to start her own business in order to stay at home while she raised her 4 kids. AFB stands for “All for the Babies”. In her spare time, Lynn enjoys training and riding their horses with her 3 girls everyday. “Your work is produced by your faith. Your service is the result of your love ” Thessalonians 1:3
Fun Fact: Lynn’s grandfather, Victor Vannieuwenhoven, a dairy farmer, sold his farmland in 1956 for the construction of what was then known as City Stadium, but is now known as Lambeau Field.
Katie Hintz is the office administrator at New Hope and has enjoyed the opportunity to serve our congregation with her organization and communication skills. She graduated from Augustana College, in Rock Island, IL, in 2001 and joined the staff of a youth outreach ministry called Young Life immediately after college. A couple moves later, she ended up in the Fox Valley where she met her husband, Joel. Joel and Katie have two daughters, Annabelle and Nora, who keep challenging their growth and making them laugh. Besides being a wife and a mama, Katie spends her time knitting, cooking, and volunteering with Young Life. There is no greater joy than to introduce a friend to Jesus – and watch Him change their hearts for Him.
Fun Fact: Katie sang in a youth choir that sang with Donnie Osmond when she was in 4th grade!
Drew Hull serves as production director at New Hope. He enjoys using his God given gifts to tackle the challenges of presenting worship in a fresh and engaging way. Drew began playing drums at age 9 and shortly after began to work with audiovisual equipment and computers. Passion for music and related technical arts led Drew to start Hull Pro DJ in 2007. Here he took on multiple roles developing skills in web design, sound and lighting, and mobile entertainment. More recently Drew worked as lighting director for a Green Bay based production company where he was responsible for everything from design to execution of entertainment lighting for a variety of clients and applications.
Drew is married to his high school sweet heart, Elizabeth. They have two girls, Eva (18 mo.) and Adelyn (6 mo.) and another on the way. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with family and making music with his bandmates in Meraki Groove.
Fun Fact: Drew was voted first to become famous in high school.
