Fundraising is an important source of income for NHCS. All of NHCS expenses are not covered by registration fees and tuition. SUPPORT OF FUNDRAISERS IS VERY ESSENTIAL TO THE SUCCESS OF OUR SCHOOL, as a significant portion of the budget relies on those funds.
We are blessed with many parents and friends of NHCS who are willing and excited to organize different fundraising opportunities that support NHCS. Attached is a list of fundraisers approved by the school board for the upcoming 2007-08 school year, including when they take place. This gives you an opportunity to plan ahead and decide which fundraisers you would like to volunteer for and/or support. PLEASE KNOW THAT YOU ARE NOT EXPECTED TO SUPPORT EVERY FUNDRAISER! One of the reasons we offer so many opportunities is to give families more choices—a chance to volunteer their time and/or monetarily purchase what they really want or need. Please never feel obligated to purchase something you are not interested in.
Please note that there may be a fundraiser added during the school year as the need arises to benefit specific programs, such as music, sports, hot lunch, etc. Also during the year, individual grades do fundraisers to support different mission projects. These are wonderful opportunities for our children to learn the importance of giving to and raising money for those in need!
Hopefully, this information is helpful to you. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact me at 725-4354 ext. 304 or dmehl@newhopeconnect.org . Thank you for your continuing support of our school!
Sincerely,
Deanna Mehl
